| Bio: | This is pretty much a day to day diary, so it may not be what you are after for an amusing read. Things covered will range from belly dancing, cooking, the very occasional ranting, wibbling/waffling, books, movies and whatever else that pops into my head. So you've been warned! ;p A bit on myself: I am quirky, weird, fluffy and very married person. A day dreamer, mostly. Although I do frequently give hubby white hairs with my brilliant crossing the roads ability. Poor man. Tsk, when will I learn, eh? :) I am an easy going person,intelligent and loyal to my friends. Friendships are important to me and it is not about owning how many friends or owning them, but for the simple pleasure of companionship and sharing life's blessings & interests. Some poor small minded cynic might barf and poo poo pah pah it and dissect the intentions, but I don't care. Pah! :p Apart from that, I really enjoy cooking for my family and friends, being creative with arty stuff, reading a wide range of books (from murder mystery to fluffy novels to sci fi), growing my own veg and fruit, meeting new people with any variety of interests, enjoying the beautiful countryside at the Peaks, belly dancing and much much more stuff. I have a weakness for yummy cake and tea in wonderful company and always up for a good laugh. :) I have been belly dancing for almost 2 years (note to self, this needs to be changed from time to time) and there are things that I didn't know I could do with my muscles that I can now. I like the music, I like some of the costumes and of course the shiny shiny coin belts. I am not a great performer as I am a bit shy like that. But in my own home, well, that is a different matter. Not totally obsessed but am keen to better myself, although additional workshop's timing and also money to blow on more classes is an issue. At the moment, I am enjoying the luxury of being at home and I have a loving yet cynical hubby, family and some very good and dear friends. I am experimenting with a few drawing techniques and have started to get back to jewellery making. One day I would like to learn cake decorating and perhaps a spot of creative writing (hmm, maybe not yet!). Hehehe! Travelling is also one of the things I would like to do more of, perhaps one day I will again. Places I would like to visit include Canada, Japan, Portugal, Poland, India, Turkey, Morocco, Spain, New Zealand/Australia and possibly a couple other places. Majority of my posts will now be locked. This is only to keep out one or two unwanted and very unpleasant people whom are no longer wanted here or in my life. This is a real shame as I have plenty of good non lj friends who drop by from time to time. They are of course still welcomed. :) If you would like to be added to my list, by all means please drop me a comment first to introduce yourself in any of my unlocked posts. If I think we have a thing or two in common or just enjoy good lj company, then I will add you back and see how it goes. Please note that I will not add back strangers with no posts in their LJ account. It would be very silly to add someone I can't check out first in their lj or have such minimum details on their profile before letting them loose into my lj.
